Resolving mental and emotional health challenges requires special care. At Merit Health River Region, we focus on helping individuals achieve optimal mental health in a professional, caring environment.
We offer a range of services for senior adults, including diagnostic evaluation, crisis stabilization and treatment. The behavioral health team provides care for a wide variety of mental and emotional challenges, from depression and severe mood swings to dementia and acute mental illness.

We offer individualized care in a safe, supportive environment, and develop treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each person. Inpatient care services are designed to help individuals work through acute mental challenges and resume daily functioning.
Most behavioral health services are covered by Medicare, Mississippi Medicaid, private insurance or private pay.
